Chef Vola’s Italian Restaurant is an absolute Atlantic City legend and lives up to every bit of its reputation. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home—old-school, warm, and completely authentic. The bone-in veal parmigiana is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly tender, enormous, expertly breaded, and topped with rich, flavorful sauce and melted cheese—it’s a showstopper and worth the visit alone. Every bite reminds you why this place is considered iconic. Portions are generous, flavors are classic and bold, and the entire experience feels special from start to finish. Chef Vola’s isn’t just dinner—it’s an experience and a must-visit for anyone who loves true Italian-American cooking. If you can get a table, don’t think twice. Outstanding in every way. 🍝

Phenomenal service and food. Got so lucky with reservations on my birthday (Labor Day weekend). To make a reservation, you have to call and leave a voice message with your information and if there is availability, they will call you. They had a cancellation and I got the reservation I had requested (well, only a half hour difference). I was beyond excited to try their food after hearing about it for so long and my goodness was it incredible. Coming from an Italian household with a father as a chef, we like to eat great food, especially Italian food. Everything was fabulous from the bread on the table to their homemade Bolognese sauce. Of course I had to get the milk fed veal Parmesan, which was the size of the plate if not bigger. I ate as much as I could and brought the rest home. There was no room left, but I had to try one of their many famous desserts. The chilled banana cream pie was unlike anything I had ever had. Absolutely delicious. If you get a chance to go here, I highly recommend it. The service is impeccable. Everyone is extremely friendly with great personalities and attentive service. Do not eat all day before you go and even if there is no room, get dessert!

The bolognese sauce was incredible. I personally LOVED the salad and the pasta. The chicken parm was tasty as well!!! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be back!

I went to Chef Vola’s on February 18th with a group of amazing women, and from the moment we arrived, I knew we were in for something special. First of all, I loved the vibe. It’s tucked away off the beaten path, reservation only and gives this underground speakeasy, sexy, intimate feeling. It feels exclusive in the best way… like you’re in on a secret. Absolutely loved that. The food was incredible. And I don’t say that lightly, I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, so my standards are high. Every single dish that came to our table was cooked to perfection. The flavors, the execution, the consistency, all of it. There wasn’t one thing that disappointed. This will 100% be a repeat spot for me when I’m back in the area. But what truly made the night unforgettable was William. William is the kind of server that every restaurant hopes to have. Professional, well-spoken, personable and completely on point the entire night. He was attentive without hovering, engaging without being over the top and he made us feel genuinely welcomed. We ended up being the last table there, literally closed the place down and not once did he make us feel rushed or like we were a burden. That says everything. If I were still running restaurants, I would’ve tried to steal William immediately. Service like that is what creates repeat clientele. It’s what builds loyalty. It’s what makes guests feel like family. William, thank you for an amazing experience. You truly elevated an already phenomenal meal. We’ll absolutely be back and we’ll be asking for you.

Reservation is required for this place and you have to call the restaurant. Overall, I think food is pretty good. My favorite is the sea bass with macadamia. It's slightly sweet and has nice nut crunch. For pasta, the ricotta blush sauce is much better than the bolognese meat sauce. I also like linguini more than angel hair. You can either do the pasta as a side or entree, and entre portion is huge. I ordered one of them as a side but for some reason they brought out two entrees. The mushroom and artichoke with oil and garlic is really yummy too and really helps make the food less heavy. The veal is good but it has way too much cheese imo. House salad is meh. Complimentary bread is really good! They have lots of options for dessert but we were too full to try anything. This place doesnt not sell any alcohol and you can byob. Price is expensive and wait time for food is a little long. Space is a little small.
