I can not express how wonderful my experience has been with this hotel! I reserved a room for my Mom and my Aunt who were going to Atlantic City to see Journey in concert. I was nervous not being there and worried about them having a hard time at check in...I wanted everything to be perfect for them. Jean was so accommodating and patient with me. After emailing back and forth I knew I could put my mind at ease. Furthermore they ended up providing them with a room upgrade(Ocean view!) and they allowed them to check in early at no added cost to give them time to unpack and explore(my Aunt had never been to Atlantic City). They loved not having to wait in line. Giving them extra time to get out and enjoy the area(they only stayed for one night) was such a blessing. Don't hesitate to stay here! I know I'll be recommending this place to anyone who tells me they're going to Atlantic City. It's not really about the esthetic, but that feeling of security and knowing you'll be taken care of no matter where you come from or who you are. We need more people/establishments like Jean and the team at The Claridge Hotel. Treat yo'self in Atlantic City and stay somewhere that doesn't look at you as just another dollar in the bank. Thank you Claridge Hotel

My husband and I stayed overnight after a concert. When we checked in, we were upgraded, which was unexpected and awesome. Our room was nice, service and staff were great. The hotel could use an upgrade. While I understand they would like to keep that Renaissance look, the furniture in the lobby could use some TLC as well as the furniture in the bedrooms....a little paint hehe and there and a little stain would go a long way. Other than that... we had a great stay!

We paid $309 for one night expecting a decent hotel experience, but unfortunately it was one disappointment after another. When we arrived around 6 PM, we discovered that parking was not included, which was already frustrating. The check-in line was wrapped around the lobby all the way toward the restroom area. After waiting about 40 minutes, we finally reached the front desk around 6:40 PM and were told that although we could check in, there were no clean rooms available. We were also required to pay an additional $118 deposit. We were instructed to come back in about an hour to see if a room had become available. Instead of getting settled and ready for our 8 PM concert, we were stuck waiting in the lobby. We finally received our room key around 7:40 PM, leaving us very little time before our event. Once we got upstairs, things only got worse. The elevator looked run-down, with duct tape holding the mirror together. In our room, the shower door was broken, the wall décor was damaged, and there were stains on the bed sheets. There wasn't even a microwave in the room. When we tried calling the front desk, the room phone didn't work. After reaching our limit, we went back downstairs to speak with someone. The front desk employee barely acknowledged us, remained seated on her phone, and didn't seem interested in helping or addressing our concerns. For the amount we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. We essentially didn't gain access to our room until nearly 8 PM despite check-in beginning much earlier, and the condition of both the hotel and customer service was extremely disappointing. We could have stayed elsewhere and had a far better experience. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Booked the Claridge a month in advance to stay after the Fantasia concert for 4 people. When we got there the lines to check in was over a 2 hour wait & some people waited 3 to 4 hours. None of the rooms were ready for any of us due to them being short staffed with their cleaning crew. We were late attending the concert because of this issue. Then they tell me they do not see my reservation after showing them all the proof, when they find my reservation finally, they tell me I had to make an additional $357 payment... I had to show them my bank account because they wouldn't honor a receipt. after check in, it took over a 30 minute wait for the elevators every time we had to use them. The next day at check out it took even longer waiting for the elevators that we had to take the steps from the 15th floor with tons of luggage. The only good experience we had despite these issues was the view of the ocean, convenience to everything and the employees at the front desk were pleasant even after being cursed out by 100s of people that night. They tried their best to accommodate all of us. The hotel is outdated but does hold a Victorian feel to it but appeared to not be cleaned properly. I won't be visiting this hotel again. One & done for me.

(3/19-3/22)..This place has become a family favorite, the pool and the pool area was warm ( ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), the towel situation will always be a thing which will never stop us we come with towels ALWAYS. The room was (⭐⭐⭐⭐) we did request housekeeping she only came twice and cleaned up once which we didn't complain about. The arcade for my son was cute he enjoyed just no attended and it opens late on Fridays 5pm. This place will forever be my go to place cheap(💲). Most of the staff was definitely friendly and nice and funny. 9/10 recommend 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽💜... Ps The Board walk seem closed until Saturday afternoon 🤦🏽‍♀️
