By some margin this was the best restaurant we ate in during our holiday in Malta. If you're thinking of going here (and you definitely should) be sure to book in advance. It's very popular and for good reasons. The food really is excellent. Service is friendly attentive and professional. Wine selection is very good and not stupidly pricey. The view over the bay is very nice, particularly at night. The restaurant itself is on the first floor and accessed by a small door and staircase next to the bar/restaurant downstairs. Once you are seated and have your menus, the staff will bring out trays of fresh meat and fish that are on the menu, so that you can see what you'd be getting and make a more informed choice. We were impressed by the care and attention taken in preparing the food and this was confirmed as soon as we started eating it! This is a great place. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth every penny. The other reviews are not wrong, so book, go and enjoy.
Came here for a quick dinner and was not disappointed, truly amazing! The waiter we had - Lucio - was so kind. Would definitely recommend every meal we had was out of this world!
Superb restaurant, small but mighty. They showed the produce used on the menu and it all looked incredible. The taste lived up to expectation and I’m so pleased we chanced a lunchtime table. 100% recommended. Don’t miss out!
My advice is book. We were very lucky to get a table as we hadn’t booked but lots of walk ins didn’t get one. The food was delicious, my tuna sashimi was fresh and very tasty. My husbands prawn ravioli was full of flavour and the pasta perfectly cooked. Our steaks were full of flavour. And there’s a great wine selection
