Laid-back hotel on a lava rock peninsula with casual quarters, dining, a naval museum & breakfast.via Google

Reconnu par le Guinness comme l'un des plus petits hôtels du monde : quatre chambres construites à même un éperon de pierre de lave, battu par l'Atlantique sur trois côtés, avec un petit musée naval et une cuisine axée sur le local et le faible impact.

Miss this place so much. My wife and I were just talking about our stay. We visited last year and it was simply magical. David and Paula were awesome hosts and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Some day we will be back!!! Also, their collection of nautical antiques is alone worth the stay.

I think this hotel should be listed among the most wonderful places in the world. it's been an amazing experience sleeping on the ocean! and the stars, the room walls, the museum hosted inside, everything simply amazing! David and Paula, the new owners of the hotel, are doing a great work!

Hotel Puntagrande was definitely the pinnacle of our vacations within Canary islands. The view is breathtaking, the place itself is a living museum with strong history and the atmosphere is cosy & romantic. As soon as arrived the owner made us feel at home and went the extra mile with every details to make our stay in El Hierro unforgettable. The tasting menu is of course on the pricy side for the island but worth every cents - It is fresh and inspired from variety of cultures while valuing local culture and products. Loved it ! Will go back with no hesitations to discover another season and tastes.

I was visiting this place again (1 and 2 years ago) and today I saw these political slogans. Never in past have seen such things in hotel, especially owned by person from abroad. I would never spend here 1 cent. Maybe Italian owner should go for studying marketing?

Refreshing culinary experience facing the Atlantic while learning more about the "herreños" and the history of this emblematic hotel and restaurant. A degustation menu using local and imported products, which changes upon season and market offering. Very nice and enjoyable service. For a special occasion.
