The harbour's most consistent name for straightforwardly grilled fish, with barnacles as a starter and burro fish or prawns cooked plainly enough to let the quality show.
- Signature
- Grilled burro fish and barnacles

This place is a true gem. A local, family owned and family run seafood restaurant where freshness isn’t a slogan—it’s the whole point. The menu changes daily based on what’s been caught, and you can taste the difference in every dish. The presentation is superb—beautiful without being fussy—and every plate feels intentional. The lapas are incomparable to any I’ve tried elsewhere, truly exceptional. Manolo, the owner, is an absolute treat and makes the experience even more special with his warmth and passion. Already looking forward to being back.
The local shrimps and Red Sea bream were fresh and delicious, although too much garlic was used for the fish. I order a glass of wine and it was barely 100 ml. The dessert was a bit disappointing.
Great choice of freshly cought fish. Cooked to your liking. Owner is very pleasant to deal with. Best experience on El Hierro. Hungry? Harry up to El Refugio!!!
Waited over an hour for a table but it was worth it. The fish platter was amazing! Fresh and tasty. Local wine also really good. Service pleasant
A delightful lunch of camarones frescos (fresh shrimp), viejas (parrot fish), and zumo piña (pineapple juice). Service was friendly with a smile and local Canarian dishes were refreshingly tasty!
