Roques de Salmor
Images provided by Google Places
Sea-carved rock stacks just offshore, historically the last redoubt of the El Hierro giant lizard before the captive breeding programme, now a protected nature reserve viewed from the coast rather than landed on.
- Good to know
- Best viewed from coastal miradores; free; no landing permitted

Beautiful rock formations that rise up in the middle of the sea and that were once the habitat of a unique species of lizard, now extinct.
Wonderful, just like the entire coast to the south... always amazing!
