A cluster of stone houses turned into a rural-life museum, with a working loom and blacksmith's forge, plus a craft shop stocking genuinely locally made baskets and pottery.

The place is very interesting as you have a whole visual of what life in El hierro has been since it was first inhabited by the Bimboches. The museum is nice and neat and the houses built in lava rocks give you the exact vibe of this amazing island.
Nice ensemble of authentic buildings on a hilly terrain surrounding by gorgeous gardens. The interior shows a collection of the different local handicrafts of El Hierro.
Great little museum. The buildings themselves are beautiful, the displays are interesting, and the little shop has a great range of relevant products - my sister bought a leather belt!
Quite interesting and a friedly service of the person at the entrance/shop
Very informative museum, I enjoyed my visit here!
