Once you reach the top, you’re rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea and the city. There is also a lovely café where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend visiting around sunset — the atmosphere is peaceful and unforgettable. A perfect place for photos, reflection, and experiencing the true spirit of İzmir.

The elevator is completely free to use, and self-operated (like a standard elevator). There are two elevators to be exact, one arriving every 30-60 seconds. Inside the elevators, there is a sign about the history (built 1907). There is a cafe at the top with a decent view). No wait time when I visited in December.
