Loved it so much we went back the very next day! Super clean and comfortable. Easy to understand menu. Each meal full of flavor, texture and color. The fish tacos were a different fish on each day. Both amazing. The clam chowder is full of clams. We took an order of seafood soup back to the hotel for dinner. The fish plates were huge!
Super great experience there. Came back for dinner after trying it for lunch for the first time. The highlight was the scallop and blue shrimp. The food was fresh and delicious. Love the clam chowder. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.
By far my favorite lunch or dinner spot in La Jolla! The fish is incredibly fresh. The menu is simple and easy to follow. We visited three times in our four night stay in the area. I highly recommend the panko crusted calamari steak over salad, and the sea bass plate meal with rice and salad. The salad is so crisp and fresh. The restaurant is very clean (clean bathrooms, too) and has both indoor and outdoor seating available. Good Arnold Palmers and beer selection.
El Pescador Fish Market is absolutely exceptional. The service is great, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I’ve never been much of a fish person, but this place completely converted me. The seafood is unbelievably fresh and incredibly delicious—everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I’m still talking about it days later. If you’re in San Diego, this is a must-stop spot for seafood lovers (and future seafood lovers).
Had excellent Clam Chowder, an equally excellent Mexican Jumbo White Shrimp Sandwich and an El Pescador Sandwich. One can appreciate the freshness of the seafood. Definitely a place to dine in San Diego.
