Our stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei was a mix of emotions. The experience unfortunately started with a very disappointing check-in interaction with one of the staff members. We have already exchanged emails with the hotel regarding this matter. It was not our intention to escalate the issue further, but we believe it is important for the hotel to be mindful that individual behavior can affect the overall impression of an otherwise well-known property. On the positive side, the room itself was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, which made the stay pleasant. The breakfast selection was extensive, although it can get extremely busy. I would recommend arriving earlier in the morning to avoid long queues and the crowd. The bar experience was excellent. The staff there were attentive and welcoming, regularly checking in and making sure our glasses were never empty. Their service was truly impressive. Overall, Grand Hyatt Taipei is still a good hotel with a great location, and aside from the unfortunate check-in experience, many aspects of the stay were enjoyable.

Stayed at Grand Hyatt from 3/7-3/9. Arrived early and front desk was able to check me in early. Hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. The hotel is located next to Taipei 101 so it is very convenient. The breakfast buffet had a very good selection of food. Good to go early though as it gets quite crowded in the morning. Overall, has been a good experience and would recommend it when visiting Taipei.

Stayed here for 4 nights and overall had a good experience. The hotel was clean, the room felt worth the price, and the gym was very well-equipped. The location is super convenient close to the metro and very near Taipei 101, which made getting around easy. A personal note: on my first night, the TV in my room turned on by itself 3 times, which was definitely a strange and slightly scary experience 😅 Thankfully, nothing else happened after that. Still, for some reason, I didn’t sleep very well any night during my stay. Overall: great location, clean, convenient, with one unexpectedly spooky memory.

Centrally located to Taipei 101. Our room was magnificent; what really stands out is the service - the staff were very friendly and responsive in every way you can imagine. We purchased the breakfast option. I have never experienced the breadth of variety offered anywhere else. The quality was superb, no matter your preference you can enjoy a western, Asian or European style breakfast.

The staff accommodation and communication to our early check-in was incredible. I communicated to the hotel about our early arrival. The early check in was not guarantee. We were offered to use the SPA area to rest and clean up before our room was ready. I was totally surprised that they were able to accommodate us with an earlier check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The daily cleaning was above par that we tipped their service people daily. I cannot say more about the #1 breakfast quality and local cuisine. We liked it so much that we invited some family that live in Taipei to join us. The SPA is a great place to relax and get my energy back after a long flight. Offering a steam room, sauna, hot and cold bath. This was our second time staying at the Grand Hyatt, so we were prepare for the Onsen experience. Location is great next to the MRT and World Trade Center. Walking distance to shops, restaurant’s and massages. Thank You Hyatt!
