Good drinks and good music. Small bar and venue but it makes it all the more good. Did I forget to mention good music?
My go to bar when I visit Taiwan! Happy hours run from 630-930pm.
If you are into underground/ alternative/ indie the band on level 2 would be up your alley.. drinks are pretty reasonable (avg TWD200+)
One of the best bars in Taipei! The vibe, music, and people there are amazing. As a foreigner living in Taipei, this bar is one of my go-to places for gatherings with friends. The bar has both outdoor and indoor seating, with a variety of drinks. They serve craft beers, cocktails, and also some snacks. On the second floor, there are always live music events—check their page, as a ticket is required! The place is simple but magical in itself! Check it out if you near the Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall :)
Went there to listen to good music and maybe have a peek at the local scene - but actually it's just crowded with tourist who talk that loud that I couldn't really here what was on the speakers... But it sounded like some pop/soft rock. Couldn't even recognise what song was playing because music level was so low, but it definitely was anything but heavy. Got my overpriced beer in a plastic cup, chugged it down and left after 5 minutes. You could visit any other touristy yuppy bar as well. Probably it's different when there's a concert, but I was unlucky to have not encountered that
