We visited last week for an evening meal. The place looks small from the outside but is surprisingly huge inside, with plenty of tables. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent throughout, and the old stone walls give it a lovely, cosy atmosphere. We had the seafood cataplana, served steaming in its traditional copper pot — great presentation and a generous portion, though we found the flavours a bit bland for our taste. Overall, a lovely evening in a really special setting. Recommended — we'd happily return!

I booked a table with a month in advance for my partners birthday, it was incredible! We got the starter specials, king prawns and scallops, absolutely delicious, and for our main we had the monkfish cataplana as he never experienced eating before. Everything about this restaurant is spectacular, the staff is amazing, great house wine and incredible food. I absolutely recommend this place, the prices are more than reasonable in my opinion. Thank you guys for giving us a great experience, I will absolutely be there again for another special occasion! Obrigada :)

We had a wonderful experience that truly captured the essence of authentic Portuguese hospitality. The food was a standout — the fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish felt traditional and thoughtfully prepared, giving a genuine taste of Portugal that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic cuisine with excellent service, this is definitely worth a visit.

TOP MARKS! Warm welcome, spotlessly clean. A smaller menu than I expected but still a great range and variety. Food took about 40 minutes but was cooked perfectly and everyone in our party absolutely loved their dish. Toilets spotless. Will return!!!

Recommended to come here by a friend. The service was friendly, fast and welcoming. The wine options were superb and our waiter provided recommendations based on dishes ordered. The food was fresh and full of flavour, with great portion sizes. The sides are not pictured but all dishes included either potatoes or fried cauliflower.
